The China International Marine Containers Group ( CIMC) , our parent company, was established by China Merchants Holdings and the East Asiatic Company in January of 1980. This represented one of the first Sino-foreign joint ventures in China. We were founded with the goal of providing the widest selection of containers, trailers, tank equipment and airport equipment in the world. Today, we offer 20 product series and more than 1, 000 models.
Over our nearly three decades in business, we' ve grown to own assets worth over $ 3 billion, run more than 40 subsidiary companies, employ 50, 000 staff members around the world and produce more than 120, 000 units every year. We have over 15 production and sales bases throughout China, the US and Europe, and own more than 200 technological patents. Our refrigeration equipment
At our 400, 000-square-meter base in Shandong, we specialize in refrigeration equipment. We have more than 1, 400 staff members helping us make up to 30, 000 units every year. You can come to us for six series and more than 150 models, ranging in weight from 0.5 tons to 20 tons. To date, our products have been exported to Russia, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Sudan, Algeria and elsewhere. Companies such as Nestle, McDonald' s, KFC, China Petroleum and China Chemical have come to us for their refrigeration needs.
